It was the most wonderful thing I have ever seen, hilarious, amusing, touching, wonderful, I could rave about it forever."
"It blew my mind, I've never seen anything like it. I have to see it again"
I did not know what to expect in coming last night, but boy am I glad I did. I enjoyed it immensely. It was beautiful and painful and releasing, every woman showed true courage in the telling of their stories and the telling of others' stories. Thank you for being a part of something so raw and real and again beauitful. Wonderful wonderful job
I'm so glad I came to see your play - it was funny, moving, cohesive, and touched many themes that everyone can relate to, not just exclusively women. I think it's going to be something Orillia will be talking about for quite some time.
Another chapter closed. Another mountain climbed to add to the list. You have added another poignant point to your trilogy of projects. Congratulations. I'm so happy for you for the awesome success you have made of this venture. You answer your calling to perfection.
It was an honour to be witness to the production of the WIT Project. Everyone was amazing and it was an experience I will not soon forget.
We all have our stories but when you see and hear them done in that format with that emotion, humour and trust, it is overwhelming
All the stories were so moving, so real so authentic. I loved how you moved from the stark black into the colors and the weaving!!! Bravo to all of you! I can well imagine you are all on a high of enthusiasm and friendship. how wonderful!!!
Just got home from W.I.T. - it was fabulous!!!!!! Way to go - the bold story telling, the songs that touched our hearts, the spirit of community modeled - it was all wonderfully amazing!!! Thank you for your sharing, your gifts, your stories, your time
We loved the show. Funny, poignant, irreverent, it really delivered a punch. We were so pleased to see a full parking lot and a sell-out audience. The metamorphosis was a beautiful finale. You really deserved the standing ovation.
Holy shit!! I could not believe how amazing the show was. The entire show really surpassed my expectations, it was so professional, and every minute was completely enjoyable. Wow!!!
The play was amazing. A group of us went together and we haven't stopped talking about it. It made us belly laugh, cry (even sob), think and reflect back on our own lives. Throughout we were thinking 'that's me!', or 'that could easily be me!' and sometimes "that sounds like you, my friend'. The way the play came together and moved from the black to the woven fabric of colours was very powerful, and the music, dance (hoedown!!!) added wonderfully to the whole production. We were all humbled by the courage it must have taken for many of the women to share their stories, and THEN actually perform them on the stage in front of large audiences. WELL done!! Congratulations
What an amazing job you have done once again!! I was totally swept into the moment with the women of WIT and so impressed with the entire production. Knowing how much blood ,sweat and tears went into the final outcome everyone in the group should be so incredibly proud and pleased with rendering such a moving and engaging performance. I am so glad I was able to be there to meet some of the ladies at the party. It was such a joy to congratulate them and find ourselves exchanging stories of sharing such a powerful and transformative expierience. I came home awash in nostalgia already conjuring images of the next magical MotherTree montage.
Val and I found it to be very entertaining while managing to expose the various troubles and difficulties we encounter along life's way. Despite all the trials and tribulations, everyone dealt with and expressed their experiences in a clear, concise way. The whole concept of how this was presented was quite ingenious. Delicate and sensitive was the subject matter, but their need to tell their stories and our willingness to listen to them was a healing for all of us.
